A 213' wide by 260' deep hole was found on the moon. It could be used to house a moon colony. So Yeah...

[Science] Super-Earth Found (12/16/09)
I was sent this link two weeks ago, but I forgot about it until now. Apparently, scientists have found an earth-like planet, named GJ 1214b, about forty light-years away. Oddly enough, it was found with a normal sixteen inch telescope instead of a more powerful one.
